Meet Chance Hernandez
Chance is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who believes good healthcare starts long before someone becomes sick. He blends conventional medicine with an integrative approach, helping patients build healthier habits and take a proactive role in their well-being.
Originally from Yukon, Oklahoma, Chance earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and his Master of Science in Nursing from Carson-Newman University in Tennessee. He also completed the Medical Cannabis Certification for Nurses through Pacific College in San Diego.
Before joining FusionMD, Chance spent several years caring for both adult and pediatric patients in emergency, trauma, and critical care throughout the Oklahoma City metro and beyond. His clinical training as a nurse practitioner brought him to FusionMD, where he worked alongside Dr. Fox and the FusionMD team.
His clinical interests include nutrition, metabolic health, hormone optimization, longevity, and plant medicine. He enjoys building relationships with patients and creating practical plans that fit their lives.
Outside the clinic, Chance enjoys strength training, home improvement projects, attending music festivals, spending time with his German Shepherd, and exploring new ideas in health, wellness, and personal growth.
